Spectacular scenery and very quiet roads. The 54 km. ride is a loop heading north from Mooers and then parallel to the Canadian border along quiet country roads with gentle rolling hills (303 m climb). The 84 km. ride heads southwest from Mooers and includes a long climb to the northern border of the Adirondack Park before descending to the village of Ellenburg and a lunch stop. From there the route goes north and then parallel to the Canadian border on tranquil country roads leading back to Mooers. The 102 km. route adds a lovely loop around Lake Chazy. Both longer routes are hilly (climbs of 589 m and 780 m respectively). There’s a pub stop in Hemmingford on the way home.
