What a great way to start the cycling season! We are returning to the popular destination of Picton, located in Prince Edward County. It is one of Ontario’s most beautiful areas at the south-western end of Picton Bay, a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Montreal. The region offers the perfect mix of flat and gently rolling hills on quiet, uncrowded roads. We have mapped out a choice of 9 different routes, varying between 35 & 175 km that offer something for everyone. The distances between villages and attractions are short, allowing for rest stops along the way. Enjoy visiting the wineries and cycling through picturesque countryside, with views of Lake Ontario, cottage country, markets and places of historical interest.

Accommodation: Located next to one of the small town’s most charming harbours, the Picton Harbour Inn has undergone many improvements in recent years. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, air conditioning, mini-fridge and telephone.
Cost: $420 for members. Non-members must also purchase the $35 membership.
Includes: 3 nights’ accommodation (double occupancy), 2 hearty breakfasts (Sat & Sun), and a welcome get together. You are responsible for your own lunches and dinners. There are a variety of restaurants nearby. Many participants will likely get together to eat together at local restaurants or at the picnic tables by the harbour.
Transportation: By carpool with a cost of $90 per passenger paid to the driver at the start.
Note: If you sign up without specifying your roommate, you will share a room with another single.
REGISTRATION: Registration for this trip opens February 17 and closes Friday March 17th, 2023.
Waiting List: Once a weekend trip is full, there is a waiting list for prospective buyers. To be placed on the waiting list, email the club at info@randonnee.ca with the request. If a place becomes available, you will be contacted and given the option to purchase the trip.
