SUMMARY:C16-Sutton\, QC
DESCRIPTION:Sutton\, QC\nSaturday 29 August 2026\nOne of the most beautiful spots in Quebec for cycling\, where many athletes come to train. The lovely rolling countryside offers a wide variety of rides for every level\, some crossing the border into Vermont. Take a leisurely ride past vineyards and bucolic scenery or\, if you are up for a challenge\, tackle routes with long climbs and steep descents. Pub stop in Sutton at the end of the ride. \nTrip lengths (and meters of climb) for the routes completely in Canada: 56 km (575 m)\, 61 km (631 m)\, 77 km (670 m). In addition\, this year\, we will be offering a first: a ride on a scenic gravel road — perfect for intermediate to advanced cyclists who enjoy a more adventurous outing on a quieter route. \nFor routes crossing to the US: 52 km (394 m)\, 72 km (595 m)\, 76 km (968 m). Bring your passport for the border crossing and ensure you have adequate insurance coverage for the U.S. Please note that if you choose to cross into the United States\, you do so at your own risk — club or trip leaders are not responsible for your care or support once you enter the U.S. \nFor more information\, please consult How Our Rides Work. \nVisit our Wiki (Cycling) to register for this week’s ride\, download maps\, and get weather-related updates. The signup sheet will be open from the Tuesday before a Saturday ride: sign up by Friday at 7 pm.
