Several routes pass through the covered bridge Pont Grandchamp. Two shorter routes are fairly flat (49 and 58 km with climbs of 172 m and 233 m respectively), both with a lunch stop in Sainte-Élisabeth. The slightly longer 73 km route is moderately hilly (346 m of climb), with a lunch stop in either Sainte-Élisabeth or Saint-Félix-de-Valois. Lancaster, ON Saturday 20 July 2024 Nice, fairly flat routes on good roads through rural Ontario farmland. Most routes are in Glengarry County, which was settled by Scottish loyalists from New York and emigrants from Scotland and still celebrates Scottish culture. There are great waterfront views where routes follow the St. Lawrence and Raisin rivers. You may want to bring your lunch. Nice pub stop at the Legion at the end of the ride. The lunch stop is in Franklin, the best place for drinking spring water in Quebec. The 70 km ride is a bit more challenging after lunch but the descents are carefree.
