City walks is a pilot project that we hope will soon turn into a regular a regular activity offered by Randonnée Aventure. This activity will be offered when there are no other activities offered, most often during RA’s off season (spring and fall).
In the spring and fall the activity consists of relatively short walks (2 to 4 kilometers or so) in a combination of Montreal neighborhoods and city parks. The walks will take place on Saturday mornings, between 10 am and 12 noon. A stop for coffee or snacks will usually be planned during or after the walk.
In January and February, on Saturdays when a Winter Sports bus trip is not scheduled, we will visit local parks which offer skiing, snowshoe and walking trails.
The schedule for outings is posted on the City Walks Calendar.
Weather and trail conditions may require a change in destination or cancellation of the outing. Always check the Wiki (City Walks) after 7 pm on the Friday prior to the outing to ensure there are no changes.
We are always looking for feedback and suggestions from Randonnée members. You can email the Social Director at info@randonnee.ca with your ideas.
