Cycling with RA

Randonnée Aventure offers the opportunity for adult cyclists of all ages to pedal together for fitness, fun, and camaraderie. All club activities are planned and managed by volunteers.

The best way to find out if RA is for you is to join us for a trial ride!

Our season extends from early May to early October: check out our Cycling Calendar.

Each trip is led by two volunteer club members. Printable maps and route instructions, as well as GPS files (GPX, TCX format), are made available online. Most rides include routes of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. Rides are more challenging as the season progresses. The departure points for day trips are generally about one hour from Montreal and are reached by carpool. Most routes are primarily on low-traffic, quiet country roads.

There are also several weekend trips during the season:

We recommend you use a road bike, but you can ride a hybrid if you prefer. Both you and your bike should be in good running order and properly equipped. A helmet is compulsory.
