Routes newly redesigned to avoid traffic and rough roads. Rides start in Vankleek Hill, which is proud of its well-preserved Victorian architecture: it is the “Gingerbread Capital of Ontario.” All cyclists start on the same route but there is a choice of different lengths. Rides are on quiet roads through farmland and a few small towns and all have a stretch along the Ottawa River with lovely views. All rides also pass by Voyageur Park and a beach stop would be possible on the shortest ride. At the end of the ride there is a picnic area beside the parking lot to wind down with friends: bring your own snacks and drinks. Trip lengths (and meters of climb): 47 km (187 m); 60 km (239 m); 79 km (276); 103 km (326 m).
