Little Burgundy Saturday 28 March 2026 Meeting time: 10 am Duration: Approximately 2 hours Distance: 5.5 km Meeting point: Metro Lucien-L'Allier (Exit St-Antoine W, corner of Lucien-L'Allier Street and Argyle Ave; we will meet inside, in front of the turnstiles) Little Burgundy is the historical home of Montreal's Black English-speaking, working-class community. This walk will highlight the history of jazz (Oscar Peterson, his sister Daisy, Oliver Jones), the legendary Rufus Rockhead’s Paradise nightclub, and the now-vanished neighborhood that was demolished in the name of urban renewal.
