Lancaster, ON Saturday 6 June 2026 Nice, fairly flat routes on good roads through rural Ontario farmland. Most routes are in Glengarry County, which was settled by Scottish loyalists from New York and emigrants from Scotland and still celebrates Scottish culture. There are great waterfront views where routes follow the St. Lawrence and Raisin rivers. You may want to bring your lunch. Nice pub stop at the Legion at the end of the ride. Saint-Chrysostome, QC Saturday 13 June 2026 Rolling hills through country lanes in wooded areas. We pass in front of the Rockburn pub. The lunch stop is in Franklin, the best place for drinking spring water in Quebec. The 70 km ride is a bit more challenging after lunch but the descents are carefree. Cyclists may also enjoy the quiet bike path by the wood in Ste-Clothilde.The 77 km ride is more demanding, particularly the Stevensen hill. Note the need for caution in descent down Covey Hill. Sorel, QC Saturday 20 June 2026 Lovely farmland and good roads. All routes include a riverside stretch either along the Richelieu or the Yamaska Rivers. Choice of relatively easy routes: 45 km (with 84 m of climb); 66 km (151 m); 71 km (165 m); 94 km (243 m). There is also a new 60 km route (152 m climb) with 50 and 67 km options, all using the Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu ferry. Nice waterfront pub at the end of the ride. Sainte-Martine, QC Saturday 27 June 2026 Easy flat rides in the countryside with good views, only 35 km from Montreal. The 47 km ride is largely on bike paths with a lunch stop at a marina. The 76 km ride provides a nice view of the St Laurence River and the Champlain bridge as well as many giant wind turbines. The lunch stop is in a park (do not miss Georges St-Pierre's statue and Trudeau gravesite). The 93 km ride crosses 6 bridges including the famous one in Dewittville, now renovated.
