Most routes are in Glengarry County, which was settled by Scottish loyalists from New York and emigrants from Scotland and still celebrates Scottish culture. The lunch stop is in Franklin, the best place for drinking spring water in Quebec. The 70 km ride is a bit more challenging after lunch but the descents are carefree. Sainte-Martine, QC Saturday 27 June 2026 Easy flat rides in the countryside with good views, only 35 km from Montreal. The 47 km ride is largely on bike paths with a lunch stop at a marina. The 76 km ride provides a nice view of the St Laurence River and the Champlain bridge as well as many giant wind turbines. There is a lovely new route that goes to the Iles de Berthierville and then takes a ferry downriver before looping back through the countryside (67 km, 245 m climb).
