Don’t be put off by the extended hikes if you are not a top-level hiker. While they do give our ‘experts’ time to complete very tough hikes, they also enable those of us who walk at a more leisurely pace to tackle a longer-than-usual hike or to take time for an unhurried lunch at the summit. On the morning of the hike, the bus departure times are the same as usual. However in the afternoon, the bus will leave the hiking area one hour later than the usual time. The first drop-off in Montreal will therefore be between 8:00 and 9:00 pm, rather than between 7:00 and 8:00 pm. Please note that it may be wise to bring along a change of clothes, plus extra food for the journey home. These items can be left on the bus during the day. |
