The lunch stop is in Franklin, the best place for drinking spring water in Quebec. The 70 km ride is a bit more challenging after lunch but the descents are carefree. There is a lovely new route that goes to the Iles de Berthierville and then takes a ferry downriver before looping back through the countryside (67 km, 245 m climb). Sainte-Martine, QC Saturday 19 July 2025 Easy flat rides in the countryside with good views, only 35 km from Montreal. The 47 km ride is largely on bike paths with a lunch stop at a marina. The 76 km ride provides a nice view of the St Laurence River and the Champlain bridge as well as many giant wind turbines.
