Berthierville, QC Saturday 12 July 2025 The historic village of Berthierville offers a nice waterfront and 4 pleasant cycling routes through rich farming country. There is a lovely new route that goes to the Iles de Berthierville and then takes a ferry downriver before looping back through the countryside (67 km, 245 m climb). Several other routes pass through the covered bridge Pont Grandchamp. Sainte-Martine, QC Saturday 19 July 2025 Easy flat rides in the countryside with good views, only 35 km from Montreal. The 47 km ride is largely on bike paths with a lunch stop at a marina. The 76 km ride provides a nice view of the St Laurence River and the Champlain bridge as well as many giant wind turbines. The lunch stop is in a park (do not miss Georges St-Pierre's statue and Trudeau gravesite). The 93 km ride crosses 6 bridges including the famous one in Dewittville, now renovated.
